Dentist

Jared Kent D.D.S.

Dr. Kent was originally born in Pittsburgh, PA but shortly after moved to Georgia. He grew up in Kennesaw, GA, just NW of Atlanta. He grew up in a big family being the youngest of five. He played competitive soccer all throughout his childhood and played Division I Soccer at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. It was at school that he met his wife, Leni.

Dr. Kent was soon drafted to play professional soccer for the Major League Soccer team, Real Salt Lake. After a year of playing, he decided to leave professional soccer and focus on finishing his studies as he viewed an education as a more reliable way to make a living and support a family.

Dr. Kent's interest in dentistry began when he had a close family friend introduce him to the profession. When he saw the help we would be able to give others on a day-to-day basis and have the ability to work with his hands and meet new people everyday, he knew he found his calling.

Dr. Kent worked hard working full-time, going to school full-time, and with the help from his wife raising a young family. Dr. Kent and Leni have three kids: Cole, 11; Rylee, 10; and Mia, 5.

After dental school Dr. Kent worked as an associate dentist in Gwinnett where he furthered his dental skills and confidence. After many years in Gwinnett, Dr. Kent decided that practice ownership was right for him and his family. After over a year of searching, Dr. Kent found the perfect practice for him and his family to settle down in here in LaGrange, GA. Dr. Kent and his family could not be happier with their decision to be in LaGrange and have truly enjoyed the wonderful people and community that LaGrange has to offer. They truly feel blessed to be here.

Scheduling Coordinator

Amy E.

Amy will be one of the first smiling faces you will see when you enter our practice. She is our front desk/scheduling extraordinaire. Amy joined our team in August of 2020 but has an extensive background in the healthcare field which includes experience as a certified pharmacy technician, CPhT, and a scheduling coordinator at a general practice medical office here in LaGrange.

Amy has been married to her husband, Michael, for 25 years. Michael is a teacher at LaGrange High School. They have a son, Tyler, who is an actor. Check out his Facebook page!

When Amy isn’t busy at work keeping our schedules booked, you can find her scrapbooking, singing, attending live theater, stumping us with riddles, or enjoying anything related to Harry Potter. She is from Slytherin House. We are ecstatic to have Amy as part of our team!

Office Manager

Ashley B.

Ashley and Amy are our front office partners-in-crime at LaGrange Dentistry. Ashley has been at our office for quite some time working in many different capacities pertaining to front office duties. Because of her extensive experience with the operations of the practice, she has the responsibility of being our office manager. She handles the day-to-day and does it extraordinarily. She makes my job so much easier!

Registered Dental Hygienist

Brittany K.

Brittany needs no introduction. She has been with the practice for over 25 years taking exceptional care of those in her chair. Many of her patients see her as an extension of their family, and in my opinion, you would be hard-pressed to find someone who has a greater passion than her for taking care of people. When you are in her chair, you can be assured that you are receiving the highest quality of care from someone you can truly trust.

Evie M.

Evie is the other half of our hygiene department dream team. She has been with our team since 2016. Evie cleans my teeth twice a year (someone has to do it), and I can say from personal experience that I had never received such a thorough cleaning until she became my hygienist. She and Brittany complement each other perfectly as their philosophy on giving thorough and exceptional patient care are seamless.

My hope is that Evie sticks around for as many years as Brittany because it would be impossible to find someone to fill her shoes.

Evie and her husband, Trey, have four beautiful children that keep them busy and on the go. They attend Rosemont Baptist Church where she is part of the worship team.

Evie is pretty much down for anything outdoors as long as her family is with her. You can always find them either hiking, boating, or riding UTVs.

Dental Assistant

Kendra J.

We are grateful to have Kendra back after some time away from us working for Interface. When I first started, Kendra was still a patient here and I would see her every so often for her dental checkups. All I heard from everyone, staff and patients included, was how wonderful she is, not only as a person but as a team member dedicated to helping those in our care.

I had wished she would want to come back again someday. My wish was granted when I got the news that she wanted to come back. I seized the opportunity and am so thankful I did, you will too. Kendra makes my job easier. She is hardworking, reliable, and has a great chairside manner.

Kendra and her husband, Scott, have two children, Jack and Lylah Kate. She is a devoted wife and mother who enjoys serving in her church, camping, and riding bikes.

Danielle F.

Danielle amazes me on a daily basis. She keeps everything running and organized behind the scenes. She has many responsibilities besides chairside assisting, and she excels at all of them. Anytime an issue arises during the day, everyone’s immediate thought is “Ask Danielle.”

Brittany E.

Brittany is another who worked here for a time, left for a time, and has now returned. We are so grateful that she has. She has an extensive dental background, most notably as an assistant at an endodontic practice for almost 9 years. Brittany has so many strengths. She has a great chairside presence and can really put our patients at ease.

She is an incredibly fast learner. I love to stay on the cutting-edge of dentistry which means learning new techniques regularly. I always look to Brittany to assist me when implementing these new techniques as I know she will have the procedure down extremely quickly.

Brittany is recently engaged to her fiancee, Austin, and will be married later this year (2021). They love watching the Braves play and spending time with their dog, Duke, in the great outdoors. They are active members at Spring Road Christian Church and live in Valley, Al.
